We are a team of physicians, nurses, and surgical technologists dedicated to helping others - our goal is to provide world-class care to those in need. While we work daily to accomplish this within our local communities, a look beyond our borders provides some perspective on the gravity of the lack of access to medical care across the globe. Developing countries have an enormous burden of surgical diseases of the head and neck, which are largely under-diagnosed and under-treated. Often people are without the means or access to the care they need, and thus may suffer dire consequences. Disfiguring diseases of the head and neck can leave individuals ostracized by their communities and additionally can lead to severe morbidity and mortality. Our goal is to find people in these communities to provide the world-class care they need and deserve in a predictable, meaningful, and important way.
